#7967 House panels are made in the same way as gopi boards in the Papuan Gulf region of Papua New Guinea. They are attached to the front of Men's Houses. Designs are traditional for clans and families with a little room for artistic freedom. Styles are unique to various villages and regions of the area. Gopis are still made and used by Gulf tribes. This board measures 37.75 inches wide.
