Very Colorful and Nicely Woven Phallocrypt. Decorated Phallocrypts are still made in the middle Sepik River villages of Mumeri and Kamanabit. They were once the only clothing of many New Guinea men. Now they are worn only ceremonially although remain popular in some remote areas. This one is 8.5 inches long with an opening 2 inches in diameter. Trimmed with seeds.
