Large split log drums, known as garamuts, are kept in the Men’s houses or covered outdoor areas where the men hang out. They are used at ceremonial occasions and to send signals around the village and even to neighboring villages. Some are as long at 15 feet. This nicely carved and painted cute little guy is 20 inches long.
