Product Description

These pieces are attached to the giant ceremonial yams that are grown by the men of the village. Once decorated these yams, which can be over 8 feet long, are considered living beings. This particular head is nicely painted and the attached yam fam is ancient having been used many times. It shows numerous repaints and has a nice patina.

The overall piece is 11 inches tall and is custom mounted.
